Support our Leaders of Tomorrow with your presence as you cheer for the best young orators of this generation. Prepared presentations will communicate strategies that will help Americans live longer, happier lives.
Winners will recieve scholarship prizes. Contestants will be judged on prepared remarks, visual aids, and impromptu speaking. Both a judging panel of communications and health professionals AND the audience will determine the winners.
The Washington, DC Leaders of Tomorrow Program (LOT) is a mentoring and programming outreach effort of the National Black MBA Association-Washington, DC Chapter. Mentors from the Metro DC area work with high school students on a consistent basis to help them develop the habits necessary for achievement, to set and reach goals, and understand personal and collective responsibility. LOT is an integrated, intense system of engagement and activities related to academic excellence, college preparation, professional development, community service, life lessons, finance, SAT/ACT preparation, history and current events, networking, public speaking, analytical development, and leadership.
